Stop the US-Korea joint war exercises in Korea peninsula!

After 65 years of the liberation from Japan imperialism , this year is the 60th anniversary year of korea war, Korea peninsula is facing in the explosive and emergent crisis around our country after the korea war.  
 
From July to August, the sake of Chunan ship sinking, US-KOREA navies had exercised the joint war training in the west and east sea of Korea.  To exercise, lots of cutting-edge weapons such as USS George Washington and F-22 fighter were mobilized for those war excercises.   

About these situations, North Korea proclaimed that they would "physical damage response" Against those war excercises, they had shot to the  west sea about 120 shells.  China also was considered to be provocative them, they would be practiced 3 steps combined war exercises with Russia.  Like a old proverb, An eye for an eye and a tooth for an tooth, the response gives rise to an war excercises for an war excercises. 

Therefore, more seriously so called Ulchi Freedom Guardian is being participated 30,000 US militaries and 400,000 KOREA civilian army joint training. in addition, massive US-KOREA joint training will be planed on september.
 
60 years after the Korean war, but many of scares are not recovering and the effect of war throughout our community is permeated like a shadow as militarism and anti North korea atmosphere until now. In that situation, if war occurs again in our country, the existence of the nation itself will be threatened whole our race of south and north. it is not difficult to imagine the devastation. 

This country is not in the hands of few politicians and soldiers, also is not able to reliant by foreign force.  Most of people who live in our territory are masters of the country.  They have the right of peaceful and security life in their land. Also they have obligation to guarantee children's future. As well we known, the fact that the most  biggest victims of war are women and children has been evidenced vividly through historically. so we, women's organization are as ardent feelings that  do not occur war anymore in our land, strongly argue to stop massive military training to US-KOREA governments.  Those military training is only to call the war in korea peninsula.   

We stand in solidarity with the women and people of conscience around the world are struggling against the US militarization in Colombia and America from August 16 to 23. America is not only rapidly building their military base in Columbia which is gate of south America, but also has been strengthened demonstration of force around the world to improve their military supremacy. 
 
We, Korea women's organizations, resolutely opposite the war excercises and military supremacy that are threatening not Korea peninsula also peace of the world.  we will have strong solidarity with people's movement against the war and protect the peace throughout whole world.

- To opposite constructing military base in Columbia and the world !
