Women from the WMW worldwide protest in solidarity with the Palestinian People
From Brazil to Pakistan women mobilized against Israel's coward attack against the Freedom Flotilla on Sunday May 30th to Monday, 31st carrying around 700 international activists and humanitarian aid (clothes, medical supplies, cement and food) to the Gaza Strip.
On Monday, May 31st in Cataluna, women joined a manifestation in front of the Israeli embassy, that went on to the streets in Barcelona. In South Africa the WMW participated on a March "Stop Israeli Terrorism" on June 3rd. In Pakistan they organized vigils on that same day. In Bolivia there was a demonstration on June 4th. In Brazil the March participated in a day of action in solidarity to Palestinian People on June 5th. In France and Portugal women also participated in the mobilisations.
Women from the March gathered in the WMW's Asian Regional Meeting in the Philipinnes, also demonstrated against "US support to Israel".
